Benmet Steel & Metal is a leader in the Canadian scrap and recycling industry located in Guelph, Stratford and Owen Sound, Ontario. We are one of the most established and reputable independent scrap metal processors in Ontario. We are looking for a calculated Business Development candidate to join our growing team.

What you offer…

As Business Development you will be involved in Retail sales, you will be introduced to all functions involving the daily operations while also exploring other areas of the business.

We envision this position as a foundation for the candidate to grow with the company.

Job Description

- Scale - Operation and cash management

- Purchasing - Commodities from our retail customers

- Preparation and completion of paperwork with an attention to detail

- Face to face time with customers

- Growing customer interactions with feedback

Requirements

- 3 months experience working in an industrial setting

- 1 year experience working in an industrial setting is an asset
