As such it operates in fast-evolving market dynamics influenced by internal and external factors that require constant adaptation and evolution. Uncertainties specific to the trading environment (volatility of prices, supply & demand mismatches) are coupled with those coming from the broader energy sector (climate change policies, changes in the energy mix, developments of new energy sources, etc) and the broader macro-economic context. They are at the heart and inseparable from business processes. The Business Applications Trading Oil & Shipping team must be responsive to the many requests from demanding users in order to ensure high availability of the IT for carrying out their daily work as well as to support new businesses.

The Business Analyst is the privileged interlocutor of the business teams

concerning the optimal use of T&S ETRM but also of the development teams during the implementation of evolutions.

He ensures the quality and the adequacy of the ETRM with the requirements expressed by the users of Trading & Shipping in order to provide high-performance IT tools adapted to the T&S Business.
