Oil & Gas Lease Analyst

Responsibilities

·       Analyze land records looking for errors and omissions

·       Setup, monitor, maintain and update necessary leases, contracts and well information into client's Lease Records system

·       Prepare various reports including acreage reports, obligations, and rentals

·       Perform data entry with consistency and accuracy

·       Meet daily goals and deadlines

·       Clearly communicate issues

·       Work independently

·       Participate in daily status calls

Qualifications

·       5+ years of relevant work experience

·       Experience reading and interpreting leases and assignments

·       Ability to read and interpret lease provisions and obligations

·       Strong technical acumen with MS Office suite

·       Experience with various land systems desirable

·       Experience with Spotfire and Power Bi desirable, but not required

·       Extensive knowledge of interpreting lease language for royalty provisions

·       Active member of NALTA preferred

·       Be willing to work on a contract basis

·       

Must live n Houston, Dallas, Oklahoma City, Midland, Pittsburgh or Denver areas
