Armour Alloys is a flat-rolled specialty metals distributor based out of Cambridge. We are currently seeking a bookeeper to join our growing team. The Bookeeper will be will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing accounts payable and receivable, and ensuring compliance with provincial and federal tax laws. This role requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in accounting software, and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities
Maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
Prepare trial balance of books, maintain general ledgers, and prepare financial statements.
Calculate and prepare cheques for payrolls, utility, tax, and other bills.
Complete and submit tax remittance forms, workers' compensation forms, pension contribution forms, and other government documents.
Prepare tax returns and perform other personal bookkeeping services.
Prepare other statistical, financial, and accounting reports as needed.
Ensure compliance with legal requirements and company policies.
Provide support during audits and liaise with external accountants
Diploma in accounting, bookkeeping, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a bookkeeper.
Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or similar.
Excellent attention to detail and high degree of accuracy.
Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and exercise diplomacy and discretion.
