Position Title: Biogas Compressor Technician


Location: North America, Remote


Reports To: Field Service Manager, North America


Summary

Greenlane Renewables Inc., headquartered in metro Vancouver, Canada, is a pioneer in the rapidly

growing renewable natural gas (“RNG”) industry. As a leading global provider of biogas upgrading

systems, we are helping to clean up two of the largest and most difficult-to-decarbonize sectors of the

global energy system: the natural gas grid and the commercial transportation sector. Our systems

produce clean, low-carbon and carbon-negative renewable natural gas (RNG) from organic waste

sources including landfills, wastewater treatment plants, dairy farms, and food waste. Greenlane is

the only biogas upgrading company offering the three main technologies: waterwash, pressure swing

adsorption, and membrane separation and has over 30 years industry experience, patented

proprietary technology, over 100 hydrogen sulfide treatment systems sold, and over 140 biogas

upgrading systems sold into 19 countries, including many of the largest RNG production facilities in

the world. Greenlane is a publicly-traded company on the Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX: GRN).

We are currently seeking a Biogas Compressor Technician that will be responsible for maintaining,

troubleshooting, repairing and operating compressors. This position is responsible for the safe and

proper operation, maintenance, and repairs of the Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) facilities'

mechanical, instrumentation, and electrical equipment.


Duties & Responsibilities:

- Performance of maintenance and repair of all company compressors.

- Perform routine and preventative maintenance, inspections and repairs on rotary screw and

reciprocating compressors; also including all ancillary equipment relevant to the operation of

aforementioned compressors.

- Ensure all compressor preventive maintenance requirements are recorded and can be


scheduled periodically.

- Conduct sufficient operator training such that they can maintain, repair, and recondition

industrial compressors, air compression systems and in line dryers on location.

- Assist with new installation, plumbing, and startup of compressors and air dryers.

- Install and provide maintenance on industrial sized gas and air compressors.

- Generate repair work orders that address the deficiencies in the need of correction on


industrial compressors.

- Maintain compressors, motors, pumps, and valves associated with operations.

- Monitor/Operate RNG facilities, identify issues, and make necessary changes to ensure


steady operations of the facilities

- Understand and support QHS goals, objectives, and ongoing improvement plans and


activities.

- Complete work orders and ensure all maintenance work is done by established safety rules.

- Perform validations and repair of PH sensors, Pressure, Temperature, and Flow transmitters.

- Ensure proper record keeping of validations in equipment data files.

- Perform preventive maintenance on fresh water and effluent systems, air systems, heat


exchangers, and pumps.

- Diagnose and repair electrical power and control systems.

- Use tools ranging from common hand tools and power tools to precision measuring


instruments and electronic testing devices.

- Support other Service & Commissioning activities as required.

- Strive to grow and develop skills.



Qualifications and Experience:

- Relevant maintenance and operating experience in an industrial or gas processing


environment is desired.

- Operational experience may be supplemented with military experience or training in a related


field.

- A relevant background in safety procedures/practices.

- Able to quickly respond to rapidly changing conditions.

- Able to read and understand mechanical and electrical drawings.

- Able to analyze and interpret data and make sound recommendations on plant conditions.

- Fundamental proficiency in Windows-based applications (Outlook, Word, and Excel) on a PC


or tablet required.

- Valid driver's license and ability to operate a motor vehicle in US and Canada is required

We are committed to transparency in our hiring process. We will be offering a base salary of

$85,000 - $100,000 based on a candidate's qualifications and experience.
