Job Summary
The Human Resources Coordinator/Administrator plays a critical role in managing the human capital of our organization. This position is responsible for overseeing various HR functions, including talent acquisition, employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance with employment and labor laws. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a comprehensive understanding of HR processes and systems, contributing to the overall strategic planning and organizational design of the company.
- Work closely with warehouse supervisor to manage the recruitment process, including job postings, interviewing candidates, and onboarding new hires.
- Administer employee benefits programs and ensure compliance with FMLA and other relevant regulations.
- Oversee employee orientation and training & development initiatives to enhance workforce management.
- Conduct performance evaluations and support talent management strategies to foster employee growth.
- Facilitate employee relations by addressing concerns, managing conflict resolution, and promoting a positive workplace culture.
- Maintain accurate HRIS data .
- Support affirmative action planning and succession planning efforts to align with organizational goals.
- Collaborate with management on change management initiatives and strategic planning efforts.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and workers' compensation requirements.
- Engage in social media management to enhance employer branding and attract top talent.
- Fluent in English and Spanish.
- Fluent in both English and Spanish.
- Proven experience in human resources management or administrative roles within an HR department.
- Strong knowledge of employment & labor law, human capital management principles, and performance management practices.
- Familiarity with HR sourcing techniques, workforce management strategies, and organization design methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization.
- Experience in project management related to HR initiatives is highly desirable.
- Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially while demonstrating strong conflict management skills.
- Administrative experience that includes data entry, contract management, and familiarity with tools like Salesforce or Kronos is preferred.
