Auto Parts Counter Sales Associate

JOB TITLE: Auto Parts Counter Sales Associate. REPORTS TO: Yard Manager. JOB TYPE: Full-time, Non-Exempt. LOCATION: 49 Hopkins Street, Buffalo NY 14220. HOURS OF OPERATION: Monday - Friday 8:00AM-4:00PM, Saturdays as needed. COMPENSATION: $17-20/hr., based on experience and skills.

The purpose of the Auto Parts Counter Sales Associate position is to respond to all customer inquiries regarding automotive used parts from walk-ins or phone calls, record and track inquiries, and schedule preparation of parts to facilitate a successful sales process from start to finish. This person should develop a strong relationship with used car parts customers and local used car parts sources. This position also plays a role in the purchasing of scrap vehicles. The Auto Parts Counter Sales Associate will be expected to thoroughly inspect all purchased vehicles (checking under the hood, checking vehicle interior, checking vehicle VIN number, etc.)
