Buffalo Biodiesel is in growth mode and currently seeking an Attorney to join our fast-growing team! You will have the opportunity to be mentored by a former Supreme Court Justice and State Senator!

This position will consist mostly of drafting legal documents and other clerical work. General Counsel will handle most court work and appearances.

Responsibilities

- Draft settlements, default judgements, summons and complaints, etc.

- Maintain accurate records of all legal activities and communications.

- Limited court work based on necessity.

Qualifications

- Permitted to practice law in New York State

- Fluent understanding of electronic filing via NYSCEF

- Excellent LexisNexis skills

- Strong legal writer

- Familiarity with legal administrative processes and procedures

- Ability to work independently

This role requires onsite work from 8:00am to 5:00pm. Our offices are located at 17 Court Street, Buffalo, NY 14202.
