Summary Of Position
This position is primarily responsible for the day-to-day function of receiving, issuing and securing warehouse items. Maintain an accurate record system for inventory control and ensure that proper transactions are recorded for all material movements. Participate in taking monthly, quarterly, or yearly inventories. Keep the warehouse in an orderly state and makes sure all supplies are stored in their proper location.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities
- Adhere to all housekeeping standards for the warehouse and other buildings assigned to the warehouse.
- Adhere to all company and departmental policies and procedures.
- Ability to operate a portable radio.
- Process all incoming and outgoing freight.
- Complete a walk around the facility to make sure all gates and doors are closed and locked and customers are escorted.
- Receive all fuel and blasting with date and time received.
- Make contact with maintenance supervisor about any unforeseen maintenance issues.
- Follow proper processes for customer service at requisition window for daily parts.
- Unload and load material on vehicles.
- Correctly file paper work.
- Become certified to sign for blasting.
- Understand the "Hot Shot" process.
- Understand all procedures for Preventative Maintenance baskets.
- Participates in the safe operation of warehouse support equipment.
- Minimum 1 year related experience in an administrative or related warehouse role, a high school diploma or GED or any combination of education and experience that provides the requisite knowledge to successfully perform the job preferred.
- Valid driver's license preferred.
- Cranes and Rigging certification or ability to pass next test.
