Role and Scope of Position:
Participates in the development and implementation of regulatory policy related to state and/or federal regulatory proceedings in jurisdictions where the Companies operate. Actively involved in the formation, support, and implementation of regulatory initiatives.
- Coordinates various regulatory filings in multiple state and/or federal jurisdictions
- Coordinates pre-file testimony
- Monitors regulatory activities of other utilities
- Coordinates administrative matters
- Maintains knowledge of industry trends and industry-related legislation pertinent to the business area
- Fosters a productive, engaging and inclusive work environment in which open communication is encouraged and obstacles to open communication are addressed quickly.
- Works safely
- Keeps Manager informed of issues, impediments and progress
- Ability to understand complex information, problem-solving skills, business acumen, analytical skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated skills with MS Office and Adobe Pro
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or related preferred.
- Must be available to work emergency restoration assignment as required.
- Must be available to travel between MA/CT/NH as necessary.
