Description
The Corix team is seeking a highly motivated individual that is looking for career growth through experience with District Energy applications. The
Regulatory Analystsupports the preparation of applications and filings to the applicable economic regulators in each Canadian jurisdiction in accordance with the applicable legislation, policies, rules and guidelines. This position will also assist in preparing the relevant responses to regulator information requests and utility arguments as required.
Compensation
$71,000 to $101,000 depending on background and relevant experience

What You Will Do
+ change customer rates. + construct new utilities or execute major capital projects. + acquire or dispose of utilities or specific assets; or + comply with previous directives from the regulator. + Review and interpret financial models that support and inform regulatory filings. + Perform industry and regulatory research as required, under the guidance of senior team members + Perform additional regulatory and compliance duties as needed to support Corix’s objectives + Work alongside the operations, finance, legal, and tax departments to prepare material for regulatory proceedings. + Conduct necessary research to respond to information requests from regulators or customers and provide basic regulatory guidance to staff. + Support internal regulatory processes by documenting and updating procedures and practices. + Attend meetings, public consultation sessions and regulatory hearing as required, under the guidance of more experienced staff members. + Carry out additional regulatory and compliance-related tasks as needed.
