Tuition Reimbursement Essential Responsibilities:

This job is responsible for the procurement of complex materials, equipment and services for a manufacturing facility producing products for the power industry. This position will issue Requests for Quotation, evaluate Supplier bids, negotiate final price and Terms & Conditions and issue Purchase Orders to Suppliers for steel commodities such as tube, pipe, machined items, and fabricated plate assemblies. The overall objective is to deliver all goods and services at or below budget while meeting quality and schedule requirements. Included is analysis of current market price levels and delivery trends. This position will also evaluate overall performance of existing Suppliers, investigate new competitive suppliers, and complete the qualification / requalification process.

Job Requirements / Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent experience in Engineering, Supply Chain or similar area of study.

Experience in Supply Management, knowledge of Boiler and Environmental Power Generation Products is a plus.

Requires above average computer skills including MS Office products ERP Software knowledge is a plus.
