Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and eager-to-learn Assistant Project Manager (APM) to support our residential remodeling projects. This is an entry-level role perfect for someone with field experience (or education) looking to grow into project management. The APM will work alongside the Project Manager to help coordinate trades, track job progress, manage paperwork, and ensure the job sites run smoothly. This position offers a strong opportunity for growth—we are committed to mentoring the right candidate into a full Project Manager role.
What You’ll Do:
•Assist the Project Manager in coordinating daily tasks and communicating with subcontractors
•Visit job sites regularly to check progress, assist with organization, and report back on issues or delays
•Take daily photos and upload them to JobTread, ensuring all projects are documented and up to date
•Help manage deliveries, pickups, and material runs for various remodeling jobs
•Track paperwork, receipts, schedules, and basic budgets
•Communicate with homeowners in a friendly and professional way for scheduling and updates
•Assist with closing out projects, punch list completion, and preparing final documentation
•Maintain clean, organized job sites and support crews with light fieldwork or errands as needed
What We’re Looking For:
•Some prior experience in residential construction, remodeling, or project coordination (carpentry, site labor, trade assistant, etc.)
•Strong interest in learning project management and remodeling processes
•Basic understanding of construction sequencing and terminology
•Comfortable with apps and mobile software (experience with JobTread a plus, but not required)
•Organized, detail-oriented, and dependable
•Strong communication skills and a customer-friendly attitude
•Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
•Able to perform light physical tasks and be on-site as needed
