Seydel Group is a Montgomery County PA home renovation company specializing in high end home renovations, custom builds, additions, kitchens, and baths. We are looking for a motivated, well spoken, and detail oriented individual to fill a Project Management position.
Required experience:
•Have at least 6 years experience as project manager
•Have at least 7 years experience in building trades
•Have working knowledge of residential building and renovation.
•Be proficient in use of technology and computer software.
Responsibilities:
Receive documentation for project(s) from operations manager
•Pertinent information and details for project
Review documentation for project/ ask clarifying questions before project start.
Arrange meeting and walk-through with operations manager/ sales and homeowner
•Contact subcontractors to confirm schedule.
•Make sure all materials are ordered. Clarify and confirm all decisions with homeowner.
•Communicate daily with homeowner any updates, changes, or setbacks regarding the project.
•Answer any questions or concerns of homeowner in timely manner (same day). Check email, text and phone in the early evening and reply to issues as quickly as possible. PM should be available from 7am-6pm daily.
•Foresee upcoming needs for labor and materials and plan accordingly.
•Organize tasks that need to be completed. Find appropriate subcontractor to accomplish the task.
•Where appropriate, perform small high value tasks or tasks that must be done in order to keep job progressing.
•Write change orders as needed and submit them for approval to homeowner in a timely manner.
•Setup all subcontractors, make changes to schedule as needed. Communicate all changes to operations manager and when necessary the customer.
•Make sure all job sites are clean.
•Check all work from subcontractors. Collect and submit invoices for payment. Hold subs accountable for quality of work and cleanliness.
Qualifications:
•Strong communication skills (written and verbal), leadership skills, problem-solving skills, and time management skills.
•Work well under pressure, be flexible and work effectively in a fast paced environment.
•In-depth knowledge of the construction industry and building process, including building codes, blueprints, construction equipment, materials, and construction process.
