Candidates MUST have relevant spa management experience. All other applicants will be denied. Gaia Spa is a new and rapidly growing membership-based luxury day spa located in Weston, Florida. We are currently seeking a full time Assistant Manager.
Assistant Managers are responsible, but not limited to, ensuring all guests meet the Gaia Spa standard of customer service excellence, logging inventory, following up with membership sales and cancellation requests, training front desk receptionists, and helping to continually improve the front desk quality of service.
Compensation:
The pay for the Assistant Manager ranges from $45,000 to $65,000 annually. Assistant Managers are eligible for membership sales commission ($20.00 - $35.00 per membership), product sales commission of 10%, and additional bonus opportunities centered around Spa performance.
As an added bonus: all new employees will receive a complimentary package including a 50 minute signature massage, 60 minute signature facial, and a 60 minute Sauna session upon hiring. Employees are also eligible for a monthly signature service of their choice with a 20% discount on additional services based upon membership pricing and 15% off all product purchases.
Responsibilities
•Developing strong, trusting, and warm relationships with new clients and answering inquiries.
•Successfully pitching and signing up new members to Gaia Spa.
•Folding towels and linen to ensure the organization of the spa and comfort of the guest.
•Assisting the General Manager with all Spa Operations
•Leading the front desk to success for quality customer service and sales.
•Restocking and filling inventory.
•Logging inventory to assist the General Manager.
•Complete side work along with opening and/or closing tasks each shift.
•Maintaining set standards of service and cleanliness.
•Upselling guest services and enrolling guests into the membership program.
•Processing payments and ensuring accuracy of daily transactions each shift.
•Training new hires and helping to improve other front desk quality of service.
•Informing the manager of any updates or relevant information each shift.
•Ensure all client information is accurately recorded within the relevant software.
Qualifications
•Must be at least 18 years old.
•Previous experience in membership sales or the spa industry.
•Previous experience handling money.
•Must be able to multi-task and remain organized.
•Must be able to communicate effectively with the team to resolve customer complaints.
•Proficiency in computer skills and display a willingness to learn.
•Reading, Writing, and Oral proficiency in English is required. The same skills in Spanish are preferred but not required.
•Well groomed, engaging, and energetic.
•Excellent communication skills with all staff members and guests.
•Must have flexibility to work weekends and holidays.
