Assistant Manager

Major Responsibilities:

- Assist in managing 10-15 hourly shop Employees

- Complete time cards in payroll system

- Hire, fire, and produce write-ups

- Generate and implement production scheduling to meet customer timelines

- Set quality expectations for the personnel, check parts to print, and complete necessary inspection paperwork

- Improve production efficiencies

- Develop and train employees

- Enter jobs into the ERP system and make job travelers

Characteristics needed to succeed as Plant Assistant Manager:

- 2+ years’ management experience

- Experience with QC processes and tools

- Experience with ERP systems

- Experience with SolidWorks and AutoCAD is a plus.

- Ability to creatively solve problems daily

- Ability to multi-task consistent interruptions and urgent demands

- Strong initiative and follow through

- Driven to find efficient processes and solutions

- Ability to be flexible and to act fast when supporting customers or working with the operations team

- Driven to create new opportunities

Salary Range: $60,000+ based on experience. Additional bonus opportunity based on performance and a great benefits package.
