Are you in? Primary Purpose:
A highly qualified corporate generalist attorney handling complex commercial legal matters on behalf of Exelon and its OpCos, including commercial, corporate structure, and procurement matters and projects.
1 Under minimal supervision, handles numerous commercial, corporate, and procurement matters in support of all business units. Functional duties include providing general legal advice; contract review; drafting and negotiating agreements and deal terms; counseling clients and coordinating litigation teams on warranty, breach, and other performance issues; evaluating both legal and business risks; and providing guidance and training within this subject area. Duties will be performed both through dealings with Exelon BSC and OpCo personnel and those of other parties.
2 Coordinate with and provide consulting specialist support for OpCo and other Exelon BSC unit lawyers concerning corporate and commercial issues relating to service agreements and transactions governed by electric or gas utility tariffs, laws, or regulations.
Knowledge of regulated utilities is a significant plus.
