We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Corporate Asset Manager to oversee the organization’s portfolio of physical assets, including fleet vehicles, cutting equipment, cameras and general equipment inventory. This role is critical to ensuring operational efficiency, equipment reliability, and cost-effective asset utilization across all locations.
The ideal candidate will bring a proactive approach to asset acquisition and disposal, maintenance and repair, process optimization, and a passion for maximizing equipment uptime.
This is a highly visible position. Reporting to the CEO and COO, this individual shall manage and maintain contact with Division Managers, Finance team members, Fleet Manager and Operations leadership to ensure the most effective reliability plan for the organization’s assets. Specific duties include proactive maintenance, asset and utilization tracking, effective transfer of assets throughout the organization, project management, project administration, strategic planning, asset acquisition and disposal, and cost analysis, outlined as follows:
· Manage and maintain a comprehensive inventory of all national assets, including vehicles, machinery, and tools.
· Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to reduce downtime and extend asset life.
· Coordinate repairs and servicing with internal teams and external vendors.
· Monitor asset performance and usage trends to identify opportunities for improvement.
· Ensure fleet compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards
· Collaborate with procurement and finance teams to support budgeting and asset acquisition and disposal strategies, including analysis of lease versus buy alternatives.
· Assist with development of long-term asset planning and strategy development.
· Maintain accurate records of asset conditions, service history, and lifecycle costs.
· Lead initiatives to standardize asset management practices across the organization.
· Research new technologies and make recommendations for improving the performance and reliability of the existing fleet.
· Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship
· 5-10 years of asset management experience or proactive maintenance experience
· Reside within 50 miles of Pewaukee, Wisconsin
· 5-10 years of asset management with a Diesel Fleet
