What you'll do:

- Optimize fleet utilization and manage the full lifecycle of fixed assets, including acquisition, tracking, capitalization, and disposal with intent to improve fleet management processes for efficiency and effectiveness

- Ensure accurate and timely recording of fixed assets, including reconciliation of physical asset counts and updating asset records

- Support Area logistics on fleet equipment moves, investments and divestments

- Monitor and report Area and National progress on directed fleet decisions and address non-compliance

- Focus on 'end-of-life' assets to ensure proper disposal or sale, maximizing gains on asset sales while enhancing active fleet performance

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as finance, operations, and procurement, to align and accurately track assets

- Maintain high visibility of fleet status, including utilization by set size, equipment under repair or inspection, turnaround timelines, and rehires

You'll have the following skills and experience:

- Bachelor’s degree in a related field and/or 5+ years of relevant work experience

- PC literacy in a Microsoft Office environment (Largely Excel & PowerPoint), experience with an ERP system is preferred

- Proven, effective skills of networking, negotiation, communication and influencing without authority in all levels of an organization

- Demonstrated ability to visualize, gather information, analyze, articulate analysis, and make predictions based upon data analysis

- Proficient at maintaining focus and driving multiple tasks at the same time while working effectively in a fast-paced environment

- Successful track record in coordinating asset movement
