About the Role
Assembly Line Supervisor supervises a manufacturing production line that assembles fabricated parts. Creates daily work schedules, follows standard manufacturing procedures, and monitors work to meet product specifications and production targets. Manages and oversees all operations activities; ensures that all operations functions are performed in a timely, cost-effective manner consistent with established operations procedures and requirements.
Duties & Key Responsibilities
•Provides leadership, communication, and coaching to employees; cultivates a motivated employee environment of trust, teamwork, accountability, self-confidence, and business ownership.
•Prepares all required reports and correspondence.
•Identifies, documents, and implements opportunities for continuous improvement.
•Keeps up to date on overall activities of the team, identifying problem areas and taking corrective actions.
•Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
•Maintaining a fully operational, safe, and tidy work environment.
•Ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations
•Performs other job-related duties as necessary or assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
•Ensuring that work is performed safely, and that proper use of PPE is adhered to in the area.
•Leads by example through 5S Methodology.
•Effective communication, including writing, speaking and interpersonal communication.
•Demonstrated proficiency in supervising and motivating subordinates.

•Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
•Must be dependable and extremely trustworthy.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
•Participates in reviewing candidates, hiring, and supporting centralized training out of the Plano facility or all Assembly technicians.
•Provides leadership, communication, and coaching to employees; cultivates a motivated employee environment of trust, teamwork, accountability, and self-confidence.
•Oversees the daily workflow and scheduling of the Assembly department.
•Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive.
•Works with HR on discipline and termination of employees as needed and in accordance with company policy.
Education and Experience:
•Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) in related field or equivalent preferred.
•Four to Five years related manufacturing experience or equivalent.
Physical Requirements:
•Prolonged periods sitting, standing, walking, and performing repetitive tasks.
•Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds at a time.
Work Environment
May work in various settings at the Maverick Power facilities, in offices, in multiple shops, and in commercial buildings. Maintaining the same position or posture while performing tasks and sitting for prolonged periods.
