Job Title – Assembly Worker

Location – South Houston, TX (Aerolift)
Job Summary
Primary duty is assembly and hydrostatic testing of tubular oilfield components used in downhole oil well completions.
Key Responsibilities
Assembly & Equipment Operation
•Operate hand tools and basic pneumatic (air) tools to support component assembly processes.
•Safely handle heavy components (200+ lbs.) using overhead cranes.
•Operate specialized equipment, including:
+ Hydrostatic pressure test equipment (up to 4,000 psi) for testing and qualification of components.
+ Hydraulic press equipment within designated assembly centers.
+ Hydraulic torque/turn machines, adhering to torque-turn specifications in alignment with API standards.
•Obtain and maintain certification to operate a 3,500 lb. forklift; perform material handling as required.
Quality Control & Technical Measurement
•Read and interpret scaled manufacturing drawings to ensure component accuracy and build integrity.
•Use precision measuring instruments (e.g., dial calipers, OD/ID micrometers) to verify dimensions of machined parts.
•Conduct lot-batch management of raw materials and components in accordance with established assembly procedures.

•Perform general duties and additional tasks as required to support team and operational goals.

Qualifications
•High School Diploma or GED
•Team player and supportive of department
•Needs good vision, coordination and dexterity to deal with handling and manipulating materials and parts
•Must be able to focus on the task at hand with great attention to details
•High level of physical stamina and strength necessary for repetitive work and long periods of standing, bending, twisting and lifting

•The ability to wear personal protective gear correctly most of the day
Operations Positions:
•Work Environment Regularly works around moving mechanical parts and in outside conditions that include inclement weather, heat and humidity. Noise levels may be loud at times.
•Physical Demands Must be able to move objects and use abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue. Constant movement and use of limbs; this position requires good manual dexterity, coordination and stamina.

•Work Environment: Safety Sensitive
•Work schedule: Full-time, overtime required as needed but not guaranteed; Must have flexible schedule to work weekends and holidays required as needed due to customer needs, etc.
•Safety sensitive positions will require additional pre-employment testing
•Successful completion of a criminal background check and drug and alcohol screening
•Employment contingent on clearance for Employee Possessor by the ATF (For MFG Warehouse roles)
