CryptoTherm, a leading manufacturing company in the cooling and heat transfer sector, is looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented Assembly Completion Supervisor to lead our skilled labour team.
In this role, you will oversee the final stages of product assembly and ensure that all components are built to spec, meets or exceeds quality standards, and are delivered on time. You’ll work closely with our Skilled Labourers, providing guidance, technical support, and leadership on the shop floor. The ideal candidate has a strong mechanical background, supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment, and a “lead by example” attitude.

Supervise a team of skilled labourers responsible for the final assembly of units, including dry coolers and louvers. Provide daily direction, monitor performance, and support a positive team culture.
Ensure all assembly tasks are completed accurately and efficiently according to technical drawings, work orders, and customer requirements.
Assist team members with complex tasks, troubleshooting, and interpretation of blueprints and specifications when needed.
Organize daily tasks, assign work, and coordinate with other departments to meet production schedules and shipping deadlines.
Conduct inspections of completed units to ensure all components meet CryptoTherm’s quality and safety standards before final delivery.
Ensure all team members follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, hazard-free workspace.
Provide regular updates to the Operations Manager, including progress, delays, and resource needs. Document issues and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- 3–5 years of experience in mechanical assembly or manufacturing
- At least 1–2 years in a supervisory or lead hand role
- Proficient in interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints
- Strong hands-on experience with power tools, hand tools, and measuring instruments
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods in a shop environment
- Knowledge of HVAC, cooling systems, or heat transfer assemblies is an asset
- Comfortable using basic computer tools for scheduling, reporting, or inventory tracking
