Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Assembler & Controls Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong electrical background and the ability to interpret blueprints and schematics. This role involves assembling various electrical components and systems, ensuring high-quality standards are met throughout the production process.
Work in a shop setting indoors manufacturing skid mounted pumping and treatment systems
The opportunity to work in a mainly indoor environment in a industrial manufacturing shop, travel around Canada to client job sites to commission and service system equipment, and the potential to earn profit sharing stock.

Wage is depending on experience; please indicate the preferred wage when applying for this position.
Driver's license required. Workplace training and safety training provided. Small allowance to acquire and maintain personal PPE like, steel toe boots, hard hat, Hi-Viz vest, etc. All tools required for the job are provided.
Ideal applicant must be experienced and able to perform the following duties:
- Interpret and follow blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to assemble mechanical components accurately.
- Assemble, wire, and build industrial control panels according to designs
- Provision, test and troubleshoot completed control panels
- Provide feedback on designs for best practices, compliance and other reasons
- Travel to remote sites (Canada wide) to provision and startup systems, or diagnose and repair systems for clients
- properly install components and wire according to manufacturer specifications
- work with PLC software and read ladder logic
- provision basic network configurations
- Utilize power tools, hand tools, and welding equipment to fabricate and assemble parts as required.
- Conduct quality checks on assembled products to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot assembly issues and implement effective solutions.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Perform installation on project sites around Canada when required.
- Team lead and manage the project fabrication and installation
- Proficient in blueprint reading and understanding schematics.
- Experience with power tools, hand tools, and welding techniques is preferred.
- Strong electrical knowledge with the ability to fabricate components as needed.
- Familiarity with calipers and other measuring instruments for precise assembly work.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment is advantageous.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
