ASC CST

Responsibilities

- Prepare operating rooms with necessary instruments, supplies, and equipment

- Maintain strict aseptic and sterile technique at all times

- Scrub and assist during surgical procedures

- Anticipate surgeon needs and pass instruments efficiently

- Perform and document sponge, needle, and instrument counts

- Assist with room turnover and post-procedure cleanup

- Collaborate effectively with surgeons, RNs, anesthesia, and support staff

- Adhere to all ASC policies, safety standards, and infection control guidelines

Qualifications

Required:

- Active Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential (NBSTSA)

- Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program

- Minimum 1–3 years of recent OR or ASC experience

- Current BLS certification

- Strong knowledge of sterile technique and surgical instrumentation

Preferred:

- Prior Ambulatory Surgery Center experience

- Experience in one or more specialties (e.g., Orthopedics, General Surgery, Pain, Plastics)

- Excellent teamwork, communication, and time-management skills

Pay: $35.85 - $38.00 per hour
