We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Abatement Worker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe removal and remediation of hazardous materials from various environments. The ideal candidate will have experience with both power and hand tools, and possess the ability to restore and clean spaces effectively. This position requires a strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

•

Safely remove hazardous materials such as asbestos, lead, or mold from designated areas.

•

Use power tools and hand tools to perform abatement tasks efficiently.

•

Clean and restore affected areas to ensure they meet safety standards.

•

Follow all safety regulations and guidelines during abatement processes.

•

Maintain a clean work environment by properly disposing of hazardous materials.

•

Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while ensuring quality workmanship.

•

Document work performed and report any issues or concerns to supervisors promptly.

Skills

•

Proficiency in using power tools for demolition and restoration tasks.

•

Experience with hand tools for building and cleaning applications.

•

Strong understanding of safety protocols related to hazardous material handling.

•

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various environments.

•

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in all aspects of work.

Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy materials.
