We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Apprentice Electrician to join our team. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the electrical trade while working under the supervision of experienced electricians. The Apprentice Electrician will assist in various electrical tasks on construction sites, contributing to the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems. A strong willingness to learn and a commitment to safety are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities

- Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in residential and commercial settings.

- Utilize tools such as voltmeters to test electrical components and systems.

- Read and interpret prints, schematics, and technical drawings to understand project requirements.

- Help with framing carpentry tasks related to electrical installations.

- Operate power tools safely and effectively while adhering to safety protocols on construction sites.

- Collaborate with skilled electricians to learn best practices in the field.

- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Requirements

- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an electrical training program is a plus.

- Basic understanding of electrical concepts and terminology is helpful.

- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

- Willingness to work on construction sites and adapt to varying work and environmental conditions.

- Mindful of proper maintenance and care of company equipment and tools.

- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment.

- A valid driver's license may be required depending on job site locations.

- Valid State of Michigan apprenticeship card, or willingness to obtain one shortly after employment.

- Clean driving record and travel to various job sites as assigned.
