Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and eager Apprentice Electrician to join our team. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the electrical field while working under the guidance of experienced electricians. The Apprentice Electrician will assist in various electrical tasks on construction sites and industrial settings, contributing to the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems.

Duties

•

Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment.

•

Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.

•

Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to understand project requirements.

•

Work with voltmeters and other testing equipment to ensure proper functionality of electrical systems.

•

Follow National Electrical Code (NEC) guidelines to ensure compliance with safety standards.

•

Collaborate with experienced electricians on low voltage wiring projects.

•

Maintain a clean and organized work environment on construction sites.

•

Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge in electrical work.

Requirements

•

Basic understanding of electrical concepts and terminology.

•

Must have hand tools commonly used in electrical work.

•

Ability to read blueprints and schematics is a plus.

•

Willingness to learn about low voltage systems and industrial electrician practices.

•

Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols on construction sites.

•

Physical ability to perform tasks that may require lifting, standing for long periods, and working in various weather conditions.

•

A valid driver's license may be required for travel between job sites.
