Role Overview
As an Electrical Apprentice, you are the next generation of skilled leaders within The 300.
You’ll work directly under our Lead Electricians, learning the trade in real-world environments. You are expected to bring a strong work ethic, respect for the craft, and the willingness to grow into a leadership role.
This is your first step toward running your own crew in the future.
Responsibilities
•✅ Assist with solar system installations (mounting, wiring, system connections)
•✅ Support in running electrical circuits and terminating wires
•✅ Safely manage tools, materials, and job site cleanliness
•✅ Load and transport materials efficiently onsite
•✅ Follow electrical plans and schematics under supervision
•✅ Maintain strict safety protocols at all times
•✅ Assist with final cleanup and project photo documentation
•✅ Learn from your lead and ask questions — your growth matters
•✅ Communicate clearly with your crew and leadership
Qualifications
•Enrolled in or completed a formal electrical apprenticeship program (preferred)
•Positive attitude, humility, and respect for the trade
•Reliable transportation to and from job sites
•Comfortable working outdoors and at heights
•Physically fit and ready for hands-on labor
•Willingness to listen, learn, and grow
•Strong work ethic and team-first mindset
Required Tools & Equipment
As an Apprentice, we expect you to show up prepared with basic tools to support your growth and efficiency on the job:
•Basic Hand Tools (pliers, strippers, screwdrivers, tape measure, utility knife)
•Impact driver / drill set (if owned; optional but recommended)
•Voltage tester (basic level)
•Work gloves, hard hat, safety glasses, work boots (PPE required)
•Fall protection (provided or reimbursed as agreed)
•Smartphone with camera for site photos and reporting
•Access to Google Drive (for document uploads and jobsite communication)
Note: Specialty tools and equipment will be provided or available onsite. As you advance, you will build your personal toolset.
