Job Summary

All About Electric is seeking a motivated and dedicated Apprentice Electrician to join our team. This entry-level position is designed for individuals who are eager to learn and develop their skills in the electrical trade. The Apprentice Electrician will work under the supervision of experienced electricians, assisting in various electrical projects, including residential, and commercial settings. This role provides an excellent opportunity for hands-on training and career advancement within the electrical field.

Responsibilities

•

Assist licensed electricians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems.

•

Learn to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints.

•

Use tools such as voltmeters and ohmmeters to test electrical systems and troubleshoot issues.

•

Participate in the installation of wiring, circuit breakers, outlets, and other electrical components.

•

Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) standards during all work performed.

•

Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

•

Assist in high voltage and low voltage installations as required.

•

Collaborate with team members on various projects, contributing to a positive work atmosphere.

Experience

•

Prior experience or coursework related to electrical systems is beneficial but not required.

•

Familiarity with tools such as voltmeters and ohmmeters is a plus.

•

Basic understanding of electrical concepts including NEC regulations is advantageous.

•

Experience in frame carpentry or related construction trades can be helpful for understanding structural elements involved in electrical installations.

•

A strong willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges within the electrical field.

•

Tools needed: Drill, hammer, wire strippers, dikes, ex.
