Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Apprentice Electrician to join our team. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the electrical field while working under the guidance of experienced electricians. The Apprentice Electrician will assist in various tasks related to electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs in both residential and commercial settings.
Responsibilities
•
Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment.
•
Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to understand electrical layouts.
•
Work with low voltage and high voltage systems as directed by senior electricians.
•
Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively on construction sites.
•
Support frame carpentry tasks as needed during electrical installations.
•
Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations on job sites.
•
Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
•
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Qualifications
•
Basic knowledge of electrical principles, including low voltage and high voltage systems.
•
Familiarity with reading blueprints and schematics is preferred.
•
Experience or willingness to learn about hand tools, power tools, and their safe usage.
•
Previous experience on construction sites is a plus but not required.
•
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
•
Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.
•
A commitment to safety practices in all aspects of work.
