Overview

We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Apprentice Electrician to join our team. This position is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in the electrical trade while working under the guidance of experienced electricians. The Apprentice Electrician will assist in various tasks related to electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs in both commercial and industrial settings. Duties

•

Assist licensed electricians in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems and equipment.

•

Utilize power tools and hand tools safely and effectively on construction sites.

•

Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to understand project requirements.

•

Conduct tests using an ohmmeter and other diagnostic tools to ensure proper functionality of electrical systems.

•

Support the team in frame carpentry tasks as needed during installation projects.

•

Follow National Electrical Code (NEC) guidelines to ensure compliance with safety standards.

•

Participate in job site clean-up and organization to maintain a safe working environment.

•

Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and implement solutions efficiently.

Requirements

•

High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an electrical training program is a plus.

•

Familiarity with power tools, hand tools, and construction site practices.

•

Basic understanding of electrical principles, including knowledge of NEC standards.

•

Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical documents.

•

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

•

Willingness to learn from experienced electricians and take direction effectively.

•

Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting heavy materials as needed.

•

Previous experience as a commercial or industrial electrician is desirable but not required.

Pay: $16.00 - $24.00 per hour
