As the Anodizing Facilitator, you will be at the forefront of our aluminum extrusion plant, leading and managing the anodizing operations. Your role is unique in that you will be responsible for ensuring high-quality finishes on our products, overseeing the production process, managing team performance, and ensuring compliance with our unwavering safety and quality standards. You will report directly to the Anodizing Manager, making your role pivotal in our manufacturing operations and ensuring our commitment to safety and quality is always upheld.
- Supervise the anodizing process, ensuring finished product quality and effective raw material management.
- Assist in budget preparation and cost measurement standards.
- Develop and implement controls and metrics for material and labor usage.
- Plan and schedule work to optimize equipment use and maintain productivity.
- Use operating indicators to control product cost, material usage, machine downtime, and other shift functions.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and that anodized products meet specifications.
- Maintain compliance with financial, legal, regulatory, and environmental requirements.
- Support safety improvements to reduce OSHA incident rates and lost time accidents to zero.
- Foster team motivation and morale to achieve goals.
- Provide leadership coverage in the absence of the Operations Manager.
- Delegate tasks and decision-making based on individuals' abilities and development needs.
- Exhibit strong coaching and mentoring skills with cultural sensitivity and change leadership experience.
- Communicate effectively and comfortably presenting to senior-level audiences.
- Investigate safety policy/legal compliance and employee relations incidents.
- Participate in the grievance process.

- Bachelor's degree in management, engineering, or a relevant field.
- Minimum of 5 years of operational leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Manage a staff of 25-50 hourly employees.
- Conducted performance evaluations and pay reviews and managed hiring and terminations.
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
- Certifications:
- Safety racking, Unracking, Packing REC Solar, ADEC Cell, Advance Line Tech, Titrations.
- Ability to diagnose and solve process issues.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with the Plant leadership team.
- Demonstrated ability to lead change and implement continuous improvement.
- Knowledge of SAP or ERP systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Physical ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 25 pounds.
- Minimal travel required (0-10 days per year).
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to cold, heat, high noise levels, moving mechanical parts, heights, dust, mist, gas fumes, extensive walking or climbing.
