Job Description

AltaGas is seeking someone with a demonstrated passion and interest in procurement, strategic sourcing and supply chain management to fill a

role within our Supply Chain Management (SCM) team. You will be responsible for managing assigned spend categories, related business unit partners and suppliers, and other internal relationships (e.g., Legal, AP, Risk, Audit, etc.), ensuring the organization has the necessary goods and services needed to run the business effectively and efficiently to deliver value for our customers and other stakeholders.

We operate a diversified, lower-risk, high-growth Utilities and Midstream business that is focused on delivering resilient and durable value for our stakeholders.

While this position will primarily support the US Utilities segment of our business, currently comprised of Washington Gas Light Company (WGL) and SEMCO, it is part of our broader, shared services SCM team within the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) organization. This position is based out of the SEMCO Headquarters in Port Huron, Michigan. It is a hybrid role, currently requiring at least 3 days a week in the office.

In this role, it is expected that you will attend relevant meetings, conferences, workshops and training sessions and review relevant professional materials to remain current on the principles, practices and new developments within the procurement, strategic sourcing and supply chain management career field, and bring these concepts and ideas back to the team.

We offer a competitive salary range of $94,000 to $136,000 per year, commensurate with experience, education, and skills. In addition, we provide a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
