As part of the AES, the Category Manager - Modules will support knowledge and best practice sharing, process-driven collaboration and full leverage of scale across AES’s global businesses. The Manager will have responsibility for implementing the modules category within the Strategic Sourcing function. Reporting to the Director, Strategic Sourcing, this position is responsible for leading contracting efforts for solar across business units. Of importance in responsibilities is the management, in coordination with category leaders in different global regions, from early stages of strategy development through contract execution. This role is responsible for ensuring the safe and timely supply of reliable renewable equipment and services at optimal Total Cost of Ownership and quality to AES.

May require global/national business travel up to 25% of time.

AES provides a flexible work environment and does expect a regular in-office presence at one of AES’ locations (preference to Louisville, CO, Salt Lake City, UT, Houston, TX or Arlington, VA)

The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements such as annual bonus, in addition to a full range of medical, dental, vision, life, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered.
