Aerial Journeyman Lineman

Job Summary

Brim Aviation is a utility helicopter organization serving the United States as well as international clients. Founded in 1993 Brim Aviation offers a wide variety of services including Power Line Construction & Maintenance Support to major utilities across the U.S. We have immediate openings for Journeyman Linemen positions with a minimum of 4 years TRANSMISSION EXPERIENCE REQUIRED.

Essential Duties and Skills Required:

Must be energetic and a strong team player. Construct, inspect and repair EHV lines from a helicopter platform, transferring to the structure and wire-walking on both energized and de-energized lines. Ability to climb transmission structures. Verifiable experience, IBEW acceptable, Journeyman Lineman. Possess good organizational skills and working knowledge of computer applications. Able to work a continuous travel based rotation schedule. Valid driver’s license. Preferred CPR and OSHA 10 or 30 .

Preferred Requirements:

High school diploma or GED equivalent or a graduate from an approved apprentice lineman program, or have equivalent on-the-job training; must qualify as Journeyman Lineman with physical ability to work pole line and high voltage construction and maintenance utilizing helicopters.

Candidates must comply with drug and alcohol testing requirements, including pre-employment, random, post-accident, and reasonable suspicion testing.

Salary: Based on experience

Pay: $45.00 - $53.68 per hour
