The Advanced Process Technician is responsible for implementing and optimizing advanced manufacturing processes. Reporting to the Advanced Process Lead, this role requires attention to detail, the ability to execute complicated work instructions, and a commitment to quality of work. The Advanced Process Technician will be responsible for helping produce products using new and complex equipment and processes under the direction of engineers. The APT should be a critical thinker with problem-solving skills, demonstrating the ability to work efficiently with minimal oversight to ensure that processes are operating efficiently and producing products to desired specifications.
Essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to those listed below:
- Demonstrate a willingness to learn new skills and implement them as required.
- Advanced product production.
- Coordination of multiple machine centers to maximize production output.
- Learn the processes under the advanced process umbrella to support the commercial group as needed.
- Learn the metrology methods required to support each advanced process.
- Execute and optimize Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Identify new procedures or techniques which resolve internal or customer related problems.
- Demonstrates excellent dexterity; able to work with small and delicate products using hand-eye coordination.
- Self-starter who can identify company priorities and work with little oversight.
- Consistent high performer with demonstrated leadership capabilities with ability to work in a team environment.
- Holds themselves and team members accountable for a high level of performance.
- Familiar with product assessment and inspection processes as well as gaging
- Exhibits knowledge of manufacturing processes with mechanical inclination

- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- College degree, technical training, or equivalent work experience strongly desired
