Accounting Specialist Skills & Qualifications

Job Responsibilities

- File monthly, quarterly, and annual state payroll taxes for multiple states.

- Resolve payroll discrepancies and irregularities.

- Process wage garnishments.

- Process child support deductions.

- Maintain employee leave balances.

- Maintain and administer 401k plan.

- Assist CFO with monthly duties as needed

- Backup for payroll as needed using ADP workforce now

Experience Requirements

- At least 5 years of accounting experience.

- Experience with multi-state payroll.

- Experience filing multi-state payroll taxes.

- Experience with employee garnishments.

- Experience using ADP Workforce Now and Smart Compliance is preferred

- Construction Industry Experience preferred but not required.
