Administrative Assistant/Project Manager

Job Summary

seeking an individual with a strong background in the commercial and residential construction and painting industry that possesses the following knowledge and skills. This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to multitask effectively while maintaining professionalism.

Responsibilities

- Proficiency in MS Office

- Scheduling (basic knowledge of calendar software required)

- Project Bidding

- Ability to read floor plans, preferred but not required.

- Create estimates and invoices using company software

- Manage current customer projects from inception to completion

- Oversee current projects to ensure on-time completion

- Supervise projects and manage field crew, reporting directly to owner

- Communicate effectively to clientele

Applicant is required to sign an NDA (Non-disclosure agreement) prior to hiring to protect Company and Company’s clientele’s privacy.

Skills

- Proficient in MS Office

- Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting software is preferred.

- Highly organized with strong administrative capabilities to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

- Strong proofreading skills with attention to detail to ensure high-quality outputs.

Qualified applicants must have a professional, friendly and clean appearance, must possess a minimum of 3 years prior experience working within the commercial and residential construction, architecture and/or painting industry and provide strong references from prior employers/direct supervisors and have a clean background and driving record. Ability to speak, read and write in English is mandatory but also must be fluent in conversational Spanish. Ability to speak Portuguese is a huge plus.

Position requires that applicant has a valid drivers license and clean driving record, a clean background, valid automobile insurance (commercial preferred) and legal work status. Travel within Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties. Company will provide gas reimbursement for work travel required to projects only.

Applicant will be hired as a per diem independent contractor and must have a flexible schedule, Monday - Friday, occasional Saturday’s may be required. Position pays an hourly rate based on the applicants experience and background, position also includes bonuses and monetary incentive rewards. Company offers growth, early-completion compensation bonus, bi-annual bonuses and competitive pay structure.
