Piteau Associates Engineering Ltd. is an established Engineering firm providing quality Geotechnical and Hydrogeologic services since 1976. Our Head Office is located in North Vancouver, with offices in the US, Peru, Chile, South Africa and the UK. We require an Administrative Assistant

to join our growing Team. This is a

position which will provide a wide range of duties and responsibilities. Reporting to and working closely with the US Administrative Manager, you will be an integral part of the day-to-day operation of the company.

NOTE:

We are looking for two Administrative Assistants for our offices located in Elko, and Reno, NV.

Some of the responsibilities are:

• Technical report preparation, consisting of scanning, compilation, editing, formatting, and report re-production

• Provide logistical support for day-to-day office operations

• Coordinate travel arrangements for engineering staff

• Project related data processing

• Support in administration of office accounts

• Order all office supplies and stock

• Support maintenance and inventory of equipment.

• Assist with expense claims

• Liaise with the Head Office (Vancouver) admin/accounts team

• Phone call reception

• Orientation of newly hired staff

• Other tasks as required

This position requires the following skills and experience:

• Advanced skills in MS Word, MS Excel, MS Power Point with an eye for detail and accuracy

• Ability to multi-task and prioritize

• Outstanding organizational skills

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills

• Initiative and the ability to work independently

• Excellent English (both written and oral) with working knowledge of Spanish being an asset

• Previous experience in a similar role and sector will be considered favorably
