We are seeking an experienced, dedicated and detail-oriented Accounting Manager to join and grow with our team.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounts Payable (AP):
•Lead and Manage the Process to verify incoming invoices ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
•Lead and Manage the Process and manage PO’s, Subcontracts and Lien Releases
•Collaborate with vendors and subcontractors to resolve billing issues and discrepancies.
•Lead and Manage reconciliations of invoice statements and resolve discrepancies quickly.
•Maintain organized and thorough records of all AP transactions.
Accounts Receivable (AR):
•Lead and Manage the Process - generate, send, and track client invoices promptly and accurately. (Understanding of AIA Billing)
•Lead and manage the follow up on overdue accounts and assist with collections efforts to maintain cash flow.
•Reconcile AR accounts regularly, identifying and resolving discrepancies quickly.
General Accounting Support:
•Lead and manage month-end and year-end closing processes.
•Prepare reports and support the finance team with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
•Ensure proper documentation and organization of all financial records.
•Help with internal and external audits as required.
•Collaborate with project managers and other teams to ensure accurate cost tracking and financial reporting.
•Maintain State Registrations and maintain compliance
•Supervise, manage and mentor accounting department
•Oversee and optimize cash flow, accounts receivable and accounts payable
•Process Improvement- Implementing and training staff of new software and processes to streamline financial operations.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour
