We’re looking for an experienced Accounting Manager
to join our Corporate Accounting team during an important phase of organizational transformation. This is a critical role suited for an experienced and motivated accounting professional who thrives in a fast-moving environment and is eager to contribute to the modernization of our close and reporting processes.
You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance in day-to-day accounting—while helping drive improvements in data integrity, systems, processes and controls.
As Accounting Manager, you’ll play a key role in owning and improving core areas of the monthly and quarterly close process while partnering across the business to strengthen the overall accounting function. Your responsibilities will include:
- Own and manage accounting for key areas including:
- Debt and interest expense
- Other income and expenses
- Inventory
- SG&A and accrued expenses
- Oversee analysts responsible for treasury-related accounting, including cash, prepaids, investments, and related reconciliations
- Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and support schedules for multiple legal entities
- Analyze monthly and quarterly variances vs. budget and prior periods, and explain key drivers
- Partner with FP&A and business units to ensure financial results are accurate and aligned with budgets and forecasts
- Help drive a timely, organized, and insight-driven close by identifying and implementing process improvements
- Ensure deadlines are met and close processes are documented and effective
- Collaborate on internal control design and execution, and support ongoing SOX compliance
- Prepare audit-ready documentation and support internal and external audit requests
- Support internal and external reporting, including SEC filings
- Coach and mentor junior accountants by reviewing workpapers, sharing technical expertise, and promoting accountability and accuracy
- Contribute to strategic projects such as intercompany accounting, legal entity rationalization, and system/process enhancements
- Support continuous improvement across controllership processes
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting; CPA strongly preferred
- 6–9 years of relevant experience in accounting; ideally a mix of public accounting and corporate accounting
- Public company experience with strong working knowledge of US GAAP, SOX and the financial close process
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management capabilities
- Comfortable working independently while actively contributing to team goals
- Clear and confident communicator with the ability to work cross-functionally with finance and business partners
