About This Job
Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Manager to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles and practices, with expertise in technical accounting. This role is crucial for maintaining the financial health of our organization and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Duties
•
Oversee Accounts Payable: Manage the accounts payable process, ensuring timely and accurate payment of invoices.
•
Corporate Credit Card Program: Reconcile and handle the corporate credit card program, including monitoring expenses and ensuring compliance with company policies
•
Bank Reconciliations: Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
•
Accounts Receivable Support: Assist with accounts receivable invoice processing, ensuring timely and accurate billing and collections
•
Journal Entries: Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
•
Sales Tax: Maintain and process monthly sales tax returns ensuring state requirements are met.
•
Other: Assist controller as needed
•
Provide training and mentorship to other accounting staff.
Qualifications
•
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or related degree.
•
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, with a strong background in accounts payable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger management.

Strong analytical, Problem-solving and technical accounting skills
•
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
•
Organizational abilities
•
Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
•
Strong Communication and interpersonal skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
