Accounting Manager- Greensboro, NC

The Accounting Manager is responsible for supporting the Controller in carrying out the responsibilities of the Finance/Accounting department.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The Accounting Manager will be responsible for performing the following duties:

- Analyze current processes and recommend/implement improvements.

- Lead the Accounting Team’s transition to NetSuite from Great Plains.

- Guide and support the Accounting Team for timely and accurate Month-End Closings.

- Manage/monitor Annual Report filing by Registered Agent.

- Provide and assist FP&A with spend analysis vs. Budget on a monthly basis.

- Prepare, review and post Journal Entries.

- Prepare, analyze and review Account Recons. Coordinate quarterly Balance Sheet review with CFO.

- Excel data analysis – Intermediate level preferred – V-Lookups, Pivot Tables, etc.

- Code and analyze large data sets downloaded from ERP system.

- Work with other departments to ensure proper accounting for purchases and expenses.

- Maintain financial documentation for and assist with Annual Financial Audit.

- Follow all department procedures and meet all training requirements.

- Other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS

Include but are not limited to:

- BS in Accounting is preferred.

- Management and Month End Closing experience is required.

- Position is full time and in-office.

- NetSuite experience a plus.

- Must be highly skilled in Excel – Intermediate skill-level – V-Lookups, Pivot Tables, etc.

- Ability to use analytical thinking and reasoning to solve problems and assist with streamlining processes.

- Ability to lift up to 25lbs.
