We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join our team, with extensive experience in the North American market. This role requires a strong background in accounting and auditing standards, control management, cash flow analysis, treasury management, budgeting, and financial analysis. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of accounting and auditing regulations, experience in management control, budgeting processes, and the ability to provide high-level analysis. Knowledge of SAP and BPC systems and experience in the infrastructure sector will be highly valued.

Job Description

•

Oversee and manage the company's accounting operations, ensuring compliance with accounting and auditing standards, particularly those relevant to the North American market.

•

Perform regular financial analysis to provide key insights and recommendations for business improvement.

•

Manage the monthly, quarterly, and yearly closing process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.

•

Monitor and enforce the implementation of internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial integrity.

•

Lead the preparation of financial statements, management reports, and other key financial documents.

•

Coordinate and manage the external audit process, ensuring compliance with applicable regulatory standards.

•

Review and ensure proper application of accounting standards and guidelines.

•

Analyze and manage cash flows, ensuring the company maintains an adequate liquidity position.

•

Monitor and manage treasury functions, including cash forecasting, short-term investments, and debt management.

•

Lead and manage the budgeting process, ensuring that all departments adhere to their budgets and that financial goals are aligned with company objectives.

•

Provide financial guidance and support in the creation and revision of budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.

•

Provide strategic financial guidance and support for cross-functional teams.

•

Participate in the implementation and optimization of SAP systems, if applicable.

Required Skills And Competencies

•

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or equivalent certification preferred).

•

Proven experience as an Accounting Manager or similar role, with a focus on the North American market.

•

Deep understanding of accounting and auditing standards, with the ability to interpret and apply them accurately.

•

Strong knowledge of financial control, cash flow analysis, treasury management, and budgeting.

•

Experience leading and managing budgeting processes, creating financial forecasts, and aligning departmental goals with overall business objectives.

•

Familiarity with SAP, BPC and other ERP systems is highly valued.

•

Experience in the infrastructure sector is a plus.

•

Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.

•

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

•

Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
