Accounting Lead - Zephyr Repower

Zephyr Wind is purpose-built to support the wind industry from the ground up. SUMMARY: Primary responsibilitiesinclude but are not limited to: maintaining accounting records, preparing customer invoices, accounts payable, purchase orders, job transactions, timecards, inventory and other accounting processes in support of various departments.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB:

· Data entry into Traverse, including purchase orders, generating new vendors, embedding documents, customer sales orders, billing, intercompany, time sheets, and inventory transactions.

· Review and assist AP Clerk with accounts payable, accounts receivable and other data entry functions.

· Ensure accurate accrual of expenses.

· Work with vendors and customers to address questions, resolve issues and provide communication.

· Assist Senior Accountant with reconciliations, pay schedules, collections, monthly close, audit requests and other related matters.

· Work cooperatively with members of other departments and divisions.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

- Good analytical and organizational skills.

- Experience with ERP systems required. Traverse experience a plus.

- Microsoft office (Excel, Word, etc.).

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Demonstrate and maintain positive relationships with all employees and the public.

- Professionalism and discretion when handling confidential information.

- Possess problem solving, reasoning, reasonable judgement and analytical skills.

- Ability to comply with appropriate task deadlines.

- Work independently and as a team member as required.

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:

- Bachelor’s degree preferred.

- 3-plus years of experience in a similar role.

Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
