The Accounting & Operations Lead will oversee day-to-day accounting functions and operational support across our two locations. This role requires hands-on expertise in Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), billing, and collections, as well as the ability to lead and develop a small team. The ideal candidate will combine strong financial skills with a practical understanding of business operations, process improvement, and data analytics to drive efficiency and profitability.
- Oversee AR and AP functions, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
- Manage billing cycles, invoice processing, and collection efforts to optimize cash flow.
- Supervise and mentor a small team, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
- Support operational processes, including job costing, inventory tracking, and vendor management.
- Collaborate with management to analyze business performance metrics and identify improvement opportunities.
- Prepare and review financial reports to support strategic decision-making.
- Coordinate inter-location operations and ensure workflow alignment.
- Travel to Southern California 1–2 times per month for site visits, team coordination, and operational oversight.- 5+ years of experience in accounting& operations
- Strong understanding of AR, AP, billing, and collections processes.
- Proven leadership skills and ability to manage a small team.
- Strong business acumen with analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks or similar) and Microsoft Excel.
- Knowledge of FSM software is a plus
- Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills.
- Willingness and ability to travel as required.
- Experience in the service industry.
