We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to join our growing team. This position is responsible for overseeing all day-to-day accounting functions, including full-cycle management of accounts payable and accounts receivable. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in accounting principles, strong organizational skills, and a collaborative approach to supporting both financial operations and strategic initiatives.
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations, including general ledger maintenance, journal entries, and month-end close activities
- Process and reconcile accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Ensure timely and accurate payment processing and collections
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in invoices and payments
- Maintain up-to-date financial records and documentation
- Assist with preparation of financial reports, budgeting, and forecasting
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure accurate financial reporting and support business objectives
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and relevant accounting standards
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including AP/AR responsibilities- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Bill.com) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Working knowledge of GAAP and financial compliance standards
- CPA certification or progress toward CPA
- Experience in the construction, infrastructure, or real estate sectors
