Accountant

The role of Accountant will provide assistance to the finance department and ensure complete and accurate financial records are available and adhere to deadlines and requirements as per the Finance Controller and the CFO. You will be required to provide full-cycle accounting, month end, year-end, financial reporting and other detailed accounting services to all business units within the organization, including TAQA Corporate if required.

Responsibilities

- Bank Reconciliations

- Completion of working papers and monthly reconciliations

- Completion of inter-company reconciliations and invoices/payments

- Parts/Tool record-keeping and reconciliations

- Strong understanding of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable

- Inventory and Asset Management

- Other duties as required or requested

Qualifications

- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field

- Minimum 2 years' experience with full-cycle bookkeeping

- Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)

- Knowledge of current GAAP reporting

- CPA designation is an asset
