We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage our financial records, ensure accuracy, and comply with regulations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing financial statements, maintaining general ledgers, supporting budgeting and audit processes, and performing accurate data entry related to financial transactions. This role will work closely with the Finance Manager.
- Prepare and maintain financial records, including ledgers, journals, and bank reconciliations
- Manage accounts payable and receivable. Work with Finance Manager to create cash flow forecasting
- Perform accurate and timely data entry of financial transactions into accounting software and spreadsheets
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles, laws, and company policies
- Conduct internal audits and support external audit processes
- Payroll journal entry and ensure timely submission of tax filings
- Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and analysis
- Maintain accurate documentation and records for financial transactions
- Uphold a strict level of confidentiality for sensitive financial data
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Proven experience as an accountant or in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and standards (GAAP)
- Proficiency with accounting software and advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite with emphasis on Excel
- Excellent data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills

- This position is on site at our office in West Berlin, NJ
- This position requires 40 hours a week, Monday-Friday
