The Account Manager will play an essential part in our sales department reporting to the Director of Sales in The Woodlands, TX
Key Responsibilities
•Present, promote, and sell products/services to existing and prospective customers
•Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships
•Generate leads through customer cold calling
•Follows up on leads and opportunities assigned, deliver updates and closes leads
•Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize satisfaction
•Achieve agreed-upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
•Supply management with reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services
•Maintain online CRM (Customer Relationship Management) tools daily
•Accountable for the creating of commercial proposals
•Responsible for discussing proposals with client and gaining client feedback
•Continuously improve through feedback
•Track assigned customer account incentives (discounts) and ensure they are applied to the invoicing tickets for operations
•Understand the core needs of each client type and build an effective value proposition
Qualifications
•Strong technical knowledge of the Oil & Gas industry
•3+ years of direct sales experience in the Oil and Gas industry related to drilling
•Post-secondary education in a technical discipline preferred, or an acceptable combination of education and experience
•Strong understanding of the MPD industry
•Demonstrated ability to convert prospects and close deals while maintaining established sales quotas
•Proven client base and history in sales
•Excellent communication skills
•Using standard Office tools and CRM systems
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel)
•Valid class 5 driver’s license.
